Job Summary
Lead and oversee accounting, finance, credit, cash management, reporting, forecasting, budgeting, and financial systems while serving as a strategic business partner to the executive leadership team. Evaluate the current finance structure to develop plans for improved efficiency, scalability, and accountability, then build a team culture focused on accuracy and continuous improvement. Manage PDI-related financial systems, optimize banking and treasury relationships, and ensure responsible use of AI-enabled tools for automation and analytics. Provide actionable financial insight on pricing, margins, capital investments, and risk considerations to support growth and operational decisions. Effective July 2026, this full-time, nonexempt role requires a CPA or MBA preferred and 10+ years of senior finance leadership experience.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field
- 10+ years of progressive accounting or finance experience
- senior-level leadership experience in a Controller, VP Finance, CFO, or similar role
- Demonstrated experience leading accounting, finance, credit, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, cash management, and financial analysis functions
- Strong understanding of financial statements, internal controls, tax reporting, audit coordination, banking relationships, cash flow management, and compliance obligations
- Proven ability to develop KPIs, dashboards, forecasts, budgets, and financial reporting tools that support operational decision-making
- Experience leading, developing, and holding finance team members accountable
- Strong technology orientation, including experience improving financial systems, reporting processes, automation, analytics, or AI-enabled tools
- Ability to work effectively in a changing, growth-oriented environment with shifting priorities, competing deadlines, and evolving business needs
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain financial information clearly to both financial and non-financial leaders
- CPA, MBA, or advanced finance/accounting credentials

- Experience in fuel, oil, convenience store, distribution, transportation, wholesale, or multi-entity operations
- PDI experience
- Experience supporting system implementations, process redesign, business intelligence tools, automation, or AI-enabled finance initiatives
- Experience working in a privately held, growth-oriented, or family-owned business environment
