Job Summary
CFO role leading university budgeting, accounting, financial analysis, and GAAP reporting; partner with President and senior leadership to align financial planning with institutional priorities, drive growth and program innovation, and support fundraising and strategic initiatives; oversee accounting systems, tax reporting, and regulatory compliance, and develop financial models to evaluate operating results while balancing growth, margin, and mission; requires collaboration across campuses and functional areas, strong leadership, and ability to drive strategic financial decisions in a growing higher-ed environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, accounting, or a related field
- Five (5) years of professional experience in accounting or financial management in progressively responsible positions within a higher education institution; or Five (5) years of progressively responsible leadership experience in financial planning, budgeting, and financial operations
