Job Summary
Develop and implement the firm's financial strategy, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning. Oversee all financial operations, accounting, treasury, tax, and risk management while ensuring compliance with regulations. Provide financial analysis and reporting to the Executive Committee and Board of Directors. Manage and develop the finance team, foster a high-performance culture, and identify opportunities for cost reduction and revenue enhancement. Collaborate with other departments to achieve firm-wide goals and provide strategic financial advice to support business development and growth initiatives. Join the Executive Committee at a leading law firm expanding operations across Brisbane, the Gold Coast, and Sydney.
Required Qualifications
- Proven track record as a CFO in a professional services firm
- Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
- Deep understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards
- Excellent leadership and people management skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to build relationships with partners and senior management
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- CA, CPA or equivalent qualification
