Job Summary

Lead financial planning, operations, and compliance for the hospital while overseeing treasury, budgeting, audit, tax, purchasing, real estate, and insurance. Appraise the organization's financial position, issue periodic reports, and develop policies safeguarding assets and adhering to generally accepted accounting principles. Manage subordinate managers, interview new hires, and evaluate staff performance. Establish strategic plans, communicate vision to stakeholders, and foster a culture of accountability and continuous quality improvement. Maintain relationships with lending institutions, the Board, medical staff, and community leaders while ensuring adherence to federal, state, and local regulations.

Required Qualifications

  • BS/BA degree in finance, accounting, business or a related discipline
  • 5 – 7 years of progressive career experience in Hospital Finance/Accounting
  • Hospital CFO experience
  • Managerial experience
  • Demonstrated understanding and experience with hospital financial reporting
  • Experience with revenue cycle management
