Job Summary
CFO needed to lead financial strategy and oversight across logistics, warehousing, and real estate entities. Role combines executive financial leadership with hands-on operational finance: oversee accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, banking relationships, treasury management, insurance oversight, and FP&A across multiple business units; partner with CEO, board, and senior leadership to drive growth, profitability, acquisitions, capital planning, and operational efficiency. Requires experience in logistics/ warehousing or related operational industries, strong GAAP knowledge, and a proven ability to build scalable financial systems and develop high-performing teams.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field required
- MBA, CPA, or CMA designation preferred
- 10+ years of progressive financial leadership experience
- Experience in logistics, transportation, warehousing, manufacturing, construction, distribution, or similar operational industries strongly preferred
- Experience with family-owned businesses, private equity-backed organizations, or multi-entity operations is a plus
- Strong understanding of GAAP accounting principles and financial reporting
- Strong operational finance and business analysis capabilities
- Experience managing budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, treasury, and banking relationships
- Ability to build scalable financial systems and reporting processes
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to operate strategically while remaining hands-on operationally
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work across all levels of the organization
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and financial systems proficiency
