Job Summary
CFO to lead Campfire's financial operations, partnering with the CEO and board to drive strategy, capital decisions, and long-term planning. Responsibilities include owning the financial narrative to investors and partners; leading financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting; driving fundraising strategy and investor relations; building and scaling finance, accounting, and operations functions; partnering with GTM, Product, and Engineering to inform pricing and unit economics; ensuring strong financial controls, compliance, and audit readiness; evaluating strategic partnerships and corporate transactions. Requires 10+ years of finance leadership experience in high-growth SaaS/enterprise software, CFO/VP Finance experience at a venture-backed company, track record of fundraising rounds or going public, and strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of finance leadership experience, ideally in high-growth SaaS or enterprise software
- Prior experience as CFO or VP Finance at a venture-backed company preferred
- Track record of leading fundraising rounds (Series B and beyond) or taking a company public
- Strong communicator who can translate complex financial data into strategic insight for diverse audiences
- Operator mindset — comfortable getting into the details while keeping an eye on the big picture
- A true product champion — you'll use Campfire daily as a core part of running the finance function, and carry that firsthand experience into every external conversation, embodying what it means to be a customer and ambassador of the product you help build.
