Job Summary
Lead the organization’s financial strategy and performance, driving profitability and strategic growth through long-range planning, budgeting, and forecasting. Ensure accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for executive and board reporting; manage liquidity, cash flow, and working capital across capital-intensive projects. Partner with operations to monitor job costing, material margins, and labor efficiency for enclosure assembly; oversee cost accounting and inventory valuation for make-to-order and configure-to-order manufacturing. Manage revenue recognition and percentage-of-completion accounting for large-scale project contracts; track project-margin performance, backlog, and bookings against targets. Spearhead capital management, including banking relationships, credit facilities, and equipment financing.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- CPA designation required
- MBA a plus
- 10+ years of finance and accounting experience
- 3-5 years in a CFO, VP of Finance or equivalent senior financial leadership role
- Background in power generation, energy infrastructure, modular construction, or related industrial sectors, preferably in a manufacturing/production setting
- Familiarity with government, utility sector, or Department of Energy contract requirements
