Job Summary
Chief Financial Officer for PC(USA) A Corp, leading financial leadership and strategic oversight. Oversees accounting, treasury, budgeting, financial reporting, external audit coordination, and related administrative functions. Partners with the President, ASGLT, and Board to ensure financial health, accountability, risk management, compliance with GAAP, and long-term sustainability. Drives governance, policy development, cost control, and strategic alignment with General Assembly priorities. Manages a team of 17 in finance and accounting, mentors staff, and champions diversity, equity, and inclusion. Responsibilities include developing tools to provide financial information for strategic decisions, guiding annual audits, evaluating departments for efficiency, and exploring sustainable non-donor revenue opportunities. Requires integrity, strategic thinking, collaboration, and ability to communicate complex financial data to diverse stakeholders. Location: Louisville, KY; full-time role in a faith-based nonprofit context.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field
- Master’s degree in a related field
- CPA preferred
- 10 to 15 years of progressively responsible experience within a financial and operational environment
- Experience working in a faith-based, non-profit environment
- Membership in the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) is highly desired
