Job Summary
Chief Financial Officer responsible for overseeing accounting, treasury, budgeting, financial reporting, external audit coordination, and related administrative functions; partner with organizational leadership, the General Assembly, and ministry partners to ensure financial accountability, sustainability, and compliance with governmental, regulatory, and GAAP standards; develop and implement finance policies and systems, guide annual audit processes, and provide strategic financial insight to inform budgeting and long-term planning; lead innovation and alternative revenue opportunities in a faith-based non-profit setting; manage the ASG finance and accounting team, mentor staff, and promote governance, risk management, and anti-racism as part of organizational leadership.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field
- Master’s degree in a related field
- CPA preferred
- 10 to 15 years of progressively responsible experience
- Experience in faith-based, non-profit environment
- Membership in the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) highly desired
