Job Summary
Oversee all financial operations including financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, accounting, treasury, risk management, and regulatory compliance. Maintain responsibility for company assets, ensure timely preparation of budgets and tax reports, and coordinate accurate financial statements. Periodically review financial performance reports, generate management reports to aid decision-making, and provide recommendations on specific financial issues. Develop relationships with financial institutions and regulatory authorities while serving as a technical resource for accounting and tax interpretation. Prepare periodic management reports and oversee the implementation of enterprise management system financial modules.
Required Qualifications
- First degree in any discipline preferably in Accounting or any other finance or business related discipline
- Relevant professional accounting qualification e.g. ACA, ACCA, CPA, CIMA or other relevant higher business degree
- Proven analytical and qualitative accounting/finance competencies
- Minimum of 10 years cognate experience in finance account management/ tax auditing
