Job Summary
Partner with executive leadership to shape business strategy, investment decisions, and financial performance across the Nigeria cluster. Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance management while ensuring strong governance through accurate reporting, statutory compliance, treasury, tax, and working capital management. Strengthen enterprise risk management, internal controls, and governance frameworks while driving timely resolution of audit actions. Build and develop a high-performing finance organization by coaching talent, strengthening succession, and fostering collaboration. Champion Lean thinking and the APMT Business System to improve efficiency, simplify processes, and embed a culture of continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications
- Continuous improvement mindset
- Leadership expectation: consistently put customers first, lead by example with respect for people, deliver results with integrity, and drive continuous improvement by solving problems at the root, developing people, and raising standards every day
- Significant leadership experience in Finance within a multinational or complex business environment
- Strong expertise across financial planning, accounting, treasury, governance, tax and enterprise risk management
- Proven experience partnering with executive leadership to influence business strategy and organisational performance
- Demonstrated success leading and developing high-performing finance teams across complex organisations
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management and influencing skills
