Job Summary
Lead the organization through a planned CEO transition while guiding Lowcountry Food Bank's strategic framework across 10 coastal counties. Build trust with a 78-person staff and senior leadership team, fostering open communication through regular huddles and all-staff meetings. Manage fiscal oversight, logistics, and warehousing in partnership with the CFO and COO to sustain operational efficiency. Serve as a visible public face to cultivate donor relationships, grow major gifts, and maintain coalitions with elected officials and business leaders. Deepen engagement with 240 partner agencies and champion community programs including nutrition education and school food initiatives. Represent the Food Bank within the Feeding America network and regional hunger-relief coalitions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Significant senior leadership experience
- Experience within a comparable complex nonprofit, food bank, the Feeding America network, or a comparable public-sector organization
- Alignment to the mission, vision, and core values
