Job Summary
Lead a department head team and oversee approximately 135 employees across independent living, assisted living, skilled nursing, and long-term care services. Provide executive leadership for campus-wide operations, ensuring regulatory compliance with federal, state, and local requirements including CMS and Illinois Department of Public Health standards. Manage the annual operating and capital budgets, monitor financial performance, and guide long-range strategic planning in partnership with the Board of Directors. Serve as the primary executive lead for donor relationships and major gift cultivation while representing the organization within the community. Guide the implementation of new Assisted Living Suites and ensure operational readiness for expanded services.
Required Qualifications
- Illinois Nursing Home Administrator License, or eligibility to obtain within one year of hire date
- Completion of a fingerprint background check with no disqualifying findings
- Employment references upon request
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Nursing, or a related field
- Minimum of five (5) years of senior leadership experience in senior living, long-term care, or a Life Plan Community environment
Desired Qualifications
- Master's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or related discipline
- Experience in nonprofit leadership and donor relations
- Demonstrated success in financial management, regulatory compliance, and organizational leadership
- Supervisory, management, and human resource experience
