Job Summary
Adopt an approach to hospital-wide performance improvement to ensure processes are measured, assessed, and improved systematically. Direct financial and budgetary performance while setting business strategy that promotes the organization's mission, vision, and values. Build a senior management team and create a desired culture to support employee and patient education. Accountable for leadership of all staff, delegating to achieve quality, cost-effective outcomes while successfully meeting strategic, operational, and programmatic goals approved by the Governing Board. Collaborate with community leaders, physicians, and facility members to design services and participate in system-wide policy decisions. Requires a Bachelor's degree in healthcare (Master's preferred) with five years of senior management experience in acute or long-term acute care.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare Related field minimum
- 5 years of senior management or executive positions in an Acute Care or Long Term Acute Hospital
- Current knowledge of state and federal laws and regulations that apply to financial practices in long-term acute care
- Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements
- Working knowledge and ability to apply professional standards of practice in job situations
- Strong organizational and analytical skills
- Working knowledge of personal computer and software applications used in job functions (Word processing, graphics, databases, spreadsheets, etc.)
Desired Qualifications
- Master's Degree highly preferred
- Ability to manage conflict and find creative alternatives to difficult situations
