Job Summary
Develop and implement long-term and short-term strategies for Mayfield Brain and Spine in collaboration with fourteen physician shareholders and the Board Chairman. Manage operational and administrative functions for a 10-direct-report organization with 225 FTEs and $45M in annual revenue. Navigate changing healthcare reimbursement models and competitive forces to expand the scope, size, and influence of the neurosurgical service line. Lead a team of 10 direct reports while maintaining productive relationships with surgeons, nurses, and ancillary providers. Report directly to Dr. Andrew Ringer, Chairman of the Board, to shape the future direction of the market leader in neurological surgery.
Required Qualifications
- A Master's degree, such as an MHA or MBA
- Minimum of 10 years of progressively responsible senior leadership in a large, successful surgical group practice and/or management and growth of a large, related hospital clinical service line and/or senior level hospital leadership experience managing, or interacting and negotiating with, large physician group practices
Desired Qualifications
- Fellowship or membership in the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE) and/or Medical Group Management Association (MGMA)
