Job Summary
Provide inspirational leadership and develop a healthy corporate culture for SpinCo, a newly spunout copper-gold exploration company. Represent the organization to shareholders, investors, bankers, First Nations, and stakeholders while working with the Board to formulate and execute strategic vision. Lead marketing and financing efforts and direct technical initiatives to advance the Ball Creek project and other assets. Maintain relationships with the Tahltan Nation and manage capital markets activities for this Toronto Venture Exchange listed entity.
Required Qualifications
- At least 10+ years of experience in generating and leading geological exploration programs
- Experience in a senior management position
- Ability to inspire confidence and create trust
- Qualified person as defined under the terms of National Instrument 43-101
- Ability to make decisions, work under pressure, plan workload effectively, and to delegate
Desired Qualifications
- A professionally designated P.Geo. or P. Eng.
- Experience with publicly listed junior mining companies and capital markets
