Job Summary
The CEO will lead BoulderCentre for Orthopedics & Spine (BSCOS), serving as the primary strategic and operational leader. Reporting to the President of the Board of Directors, this role partners with physician shareholders to drive financial performance, organizational health, and long-term growth across an established orthopedic specialty practice. Responsibilities include overseeing budgeting, accounting, payer contract negotiation, strategic planning, governance with the Board, physician recruitment and retention, and ensuring regulatory and bylaws compliance. The role requires a visible, approachable leadership style, ability to mentor staff, and strong collaboration with physicians, staff, and external health organizations. The position involves occasional evening/weekend work and travel and offers a salary range of $223,000–$305,000 with bonus eligibility.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Health Administration or MBA preferred
- 7+ years of executive-level experience
- 5+ years managing a specialty or multispecialty practice of similar size and structure
- Demonstrated expertise in healthcare finance and payer contract negotiation
- Strong knowledge of the competitive managed care market and healthcare regulatory environment
- Physical Requirements: 90% sitting, 10% walking, standing, lifting up to 25 pounds, stooping
