Job Summary
CEO to provide strategic, operational, and financial leadership for Balsam Care. Lead transformation initiatives to support community-based, inclusive service models; oversee all programs to ensure safe, ethical, high-quality, and compliant operations; serve as primary liaison to the Board of Directors with accountability for performance, risk, and finances; guide senior leadership and foster an inclusive, healthy workplace culture; ensure strong financial stewardship and management of public funding; build and maintain relationships with government, partners, families, and communities. Strong emphasis on person-centered, trauma-informed, and rights-based practice; leadership in residential care, disability support, mental health, community services, or publicly funded organizations is valued. Required Qualifications
- Post-secondary education in health, social services, public or business administration (graduate degree an asset)
- 7+ years of senior executive leadership experience in health, social services, or a related public or not-for-profit sector
- Demonstrated experience leading complex organizations through change
- Strong governance, financial, and relationship-management skills
- Commitment to person-centered, trauma-informed, and rights-based practice
