Job Summary
Partner with the Board of Directors to define and execute the strategic plan, prepare meeting materials, and present summary reports on patient census, financial activity, and quality improvement. Ensure organization-wide compliance with HRSA Health Center Program requirements, Sliding Fee Discount Program, and Uniform Data System reporting while championing enterprise risk management. Provide executive oversight of integrated medical, dental, and behavioral health services, manage the annual operating and capital budget, and oversee recruitment and retention of a multidisciplinary workforce. Serve as the primary spokesperson for media and advocacy efforts to strengthen community trust and support fundraising initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum of 5–7 years of senior leadership experience, preferably in healthcare in a community health center or rural health setting
- Experience working effectively with a governing Board of Directors
- Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, and managing complex funding streams
Desired Qualifications
- Master's degree (MHA, MPH, MBA, or related field)
- Demonstrated knowledge of HRSA Health Center Program requirements and FQHC operations
- Experience leading in a rural or frontier healthcare environment
- Demonstrated success in provider recruitment and retention strategies
- Experience with integrated care models and value-based care initiatives
