Job Summary
Chief Executive Officer (CEO) sought to lead ARC Community Services, a Wisconsin nonprofit focused on women-responsive, family-centered, trauma-informed services. The role requires providing strategic direction, expanding services and community impact, fundraising and grant development, financial stewardship, board and stakeholder engagement, and leadership of a mission-driven team. The CEO will advocate for women and families, ensure program excellence and compliance, build partnerships with donors, funders, government agencies, and community partners, and guide organizational growth honoring ARC’s nearly 50-year legacy in evidence-based, trauma-informed care.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of eight (8) years of progressive leadership experience in the nonprofit sector, preferably within social services, behavioral health, human services, or a related field
- Master's degree in a related field required
- Master of Social Work (MSW) strongly preferred
- Proven success in fundraising, grant development, donor engagement, and resource development
- Strong financial acumen, including budget development, forecasting, and sustainability planning
- Exceptional communication, relationship-building, and public speaking skills
- Strategic thinker with an entrepreneurial mindset and commitment to innovation
- Deep understanding of and commitment to issues impacting women, families, and underserved populations
- Passion for empowering individuals to achieve self-sufficiency, stability, and long-term success
- Commitment to equity, compassion, trauma-informed practice, and community-centered leadership
