Job Summary
Oversee retail store operations and management teams to drive sales goals, execute operational strategies, and ensure maximum productivity and profitability. Recruit, interview, and develop a high-performing team while maintaining strict brand standards, inventory control, and compliance with company procedures. Create practices to decrease turnover and hold members accountable for performance standards using the CARE model. Manage payroll processes and support business planning while adapting to fast-paced changes in a warehouse environment. Occasional travel may be required, with shifts running Monday through Sunday.
Required Qualifications
- 3 - 5 years of management experience leading a big box retail store
- Must possess excellent customer service skills
- Must possess a creative merchant first mindset
- Proven ability to lead a large team and direct operations at all levels in a high volume, highly complex store
- Strong background and substantial experience in merchandising
- Strong background and substantial experience in sales generation
- Strong background and substantial experience in operations
- Strong background and substantial experience in inventory control
- Strong background and substantial experience in budget management
- Strong background and substantial experience in managing profit and loss (P&L)
- Demonstrated experience recruiting, selecting, hiring, onboarding, developing and coaching a high performing retail sales and operations team
