Job Summary
Oversee retail store operations and management teams to drive sales goals, execute operational strategies, and ensure customer satisfaction. Recruit, interview, and select management and sales staff to maintain maximum scheduling coverage during peak traffic, while developing a high-performing team through coaching and performance discussions. Create practices to reduce turnover and maintain brand standards, inventory control, and compliance with company procedures. Relocate to cities with store needs within 12–15 weeks to assume the Store Manager/CEM role, working retail hours Monday through Sunday.
Required Qualifications
- 3 - 5 years of management experience leading a big box retail store
- Must possess excellent customer service skills
- Must possess a creative merchant first mindset
- Proven ability to lead a large team and direct operations at all levels in a high volume, highly complex store
- Strong background and substantial experience in merchandising
- Strong background and substantial experience in sales generation
- Strong background and substantial experience in operations
- Strong background and substantial experience in inventory control
- Strong background and substantial experience in budget management
- Strong background and substantial experience in managing profit and loss (P&L)
- Demonstrated experience recruiting, selecting, hiring, onboarding, developing and coaching a high performing retail sales and operations team
