Job Summary
Lead and manage the maintenance and engineering team while overseeing daily repairs, work orders, and preventive maintenance schedules for HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and life safety systems. Conduct regular property inspections to identify maintenance needs, manage department budgeting and vendor relationships, and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards. Respond quickly to urgent issues and guest impact situations, coordinating effectively with hotel leadership and all departments. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized engineering shop and work areas. This leadership role offers daily operational impact and opportunities to grow technical and management skills within a supportive team environment.
Required Qualifications
- Previous engineering or maintenance leadership experience
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems
- Organized, dependable, and safety focused
- Able to lead, train, and motivate a maintenance team
- Skilled in troubleshooting and problem solving
- Comfortable working hands on and managing multiple priorities
- Ability to lift, move, climb, and work with tools and equipment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Flexible to work any shifts including holidays and weekends
