Job Summary
Oversee maintenance, repair, and preventive maintenance programs for all hotel equipment while managing a diverse engineering staff and contractors. Handle room maintenance requests promptly, follow up on alarms to determine causes and emergency status, and coordinate scheduling for engineering personnel. Develop and implement the annual department budget, lead safety system inspections with third-party vendors, and ensure strict adherence to Gulph Creek standards and loss prevention guidelines. Maintain high personal grooming standards and approach all guest and employee interactions with a service-oriented mindset. Create and adhere to the annual budget for the department.
Required Qualifications
- At least 5 years of progressive experience in a hotel or a related field
- 2-year college degree and 3 or more years of related experience
- 4-year college degree and at least 1 year of related experience
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Previous supervisory responsibility
