Job Summary
Lead the full software development lifecycle from requirements analysis through deployment and support for space and defense missions. Develop software prototypes, participate in Agile planning and code reviews, and design secure cloud-based applications while applying cybersecurity best practices. Produce technical documentation, support Model-Based Systems Engineering activities, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver mission-critical solutions. Requires Top Secret clearance, 10+ years of leadership experience, and proficiency in C++, C#, or Python.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
- Active U.S. Government Top Secret Security Clearance with SCI eligibility
- 10+ years of engineering leadership and software development experience
- Experience with C++, C#, Java/Groovy, or Python
- Knowledge of secure software development practices
- Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and SysML
- Experience designing and implementing DoD space systems
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum development methodologies
- Experience using GitLab, Jira, Confluence, and modern development environments
- Strong leadership, communication, and technical documentation skills
- Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams
