Job Summary
Define and execute the technical vision for a multidisciplined engineering team leading U.S. DoD counter WMD and Hardened Facility defeat capabilities. Promote a culture of innovation by integrating Building Information Modeling (BIM), Modeling and Simulation (M&S), and Artificial Intelligence into production workflows to increase product fidelity. Collaborate with program management to oversee requirements development, ensure solution quality, and drive interdisciplinary coordination across architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines. Oversee the implementation of BIM standards and protocols, manage digital twin technologies, and support follow-on planning and acquisition efforts through regular model delivery and briefings.
Required Qualifications
- Active and in-scope TS/SCI Polygraph clearance
- US Citizen
- Highest knowledge and mastery of highly advanced technologies, scientific principles, theories and concepts
- Viewed as a subject matter expert and within the field by peers within and outside the organization
- Masters with 15+ years of prior relevant experience or Doctorate with 13+ years of prior relevant experience
- Experience in facility analysis, infrastructure vulnerability assessments, and mechanical, civil, structural or related engineering within the Commercial, DoD or Intelligence Community environment
- Prior relevant experience should be multi-disciplinary and include both technical and personnel management aspects
- Experience in developing digital twin or 3D simulation networks
- Proven experience in managing/leading large, cross functional teams
- Strong understanding of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire/life safety, and control systems
- Experience as, or working with, a BIM Manager on facility projects and experience in executing BIM Execution Plans
- Proficiency in BIM Software such as Revit, Civil 3D, Navisworks, BIM360, etc.
- Experience with digital twin technologies and 3D modeling and simulation applications
- Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills
Desired Qualifications
- Experience as or working with facility managers
- Experience or understanding of above and below ground facilities
- Experience with industrial IoT platforms, SCADA systems, BMS, ICS, PLC
- Working knowledge of protective engineering or physical force protection measures
- Experience in vulnerability analysis or protective design or weapons effects
- Associated General Contractors of America (AGC) Certificate of Management – Building Information Modeling (CM-BIM)
- 3D Modeling/Simulation/Analytics
