Job Summary
Lead, schedule, and train a high-performing maintenance team while overseeing daily operations of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and other building systems. Conduct regular property inspections to ensure safety, cleanliness, and brand compliance, and manage maintenance inventory and vendor coordination for timely repairs. Maintain accurate records, preventative maintenance logs, and assist with capital project planning, while ensuring curb appeal and upkeep of exterior areas including landscaping, parking lots, and pool. Be available for after-hours emergency calls as part of a rotating on-call schedule.
Required Qualifications
- 2–4 years of hotel maintenance experience
- 1–2 years in a supervisory or lead role
- Strong working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general repair
- Familiarity with OSHA standards, safety procedures, and preventive maintenance systems
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to pass background check
- Certified Pool Operator (CPO)
- Ability to obtain CPO within 60 days
- Ability to stand, walk, or climb stairs for extended periods
- Frequent use of ladders and tools requiring fine motor skills
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. independently
- Ability to lift and carry up to 140 lbs. with assistance
- Ability to perform tasks involving kneeling, reaching, bending, and twisting
Desired Qualifications
- Technical certification or associate degree in a related field
- Experience managing vendor relationships and capital improvement projects
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
