Job Summary
Ensure property conditions meet high standards of functionality and guest appeal. Manage rehabilitation, expansion, and special projects while maintaining energy management and preventative maintenance programs. Conduct special training for operating departments on equipment and energy use. Manage routine maintenance across public spaces, meeting rooms, and grounds. Assign and verify completion of all repairs, replacements, and renovations in guest areas, offices, and work zones. Requires an Electricians License, three years of building maintenance experience in hotels, and one year as a head or Assistant Chief Engineer. Full-time exempt role with flexibility to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from high school
- Graduation from an apprenticeship, advance-training program for operating engineers recognized by the industry trade
- Any other combination of education, training or experience that provides the necessary knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the job
- Three years' experience performing building maintenance in a hotel or related industry
- One year's experience as a head or Assistant Chief Engineer in the same or similar environment
- Licenses and permits as required by law or company regulations, such as an Electricians License
- Flexibility to work days, nights, weekends and holidays
