Job Summary
Lead technical strategy, design, and execution for complex aerospace and defense systems while serving as the primary engineering authority for assigned programs. Develop roadmaps aligned with business objectives, oversee system integration and testing, and manage engineering review boards and failure investigations. Drive continuous improvement initiatives, mentor staff, and represent the company in customer and government engagements. Ensure strict adherence to IPDS and AS9100 requirements while collaborating across joint U.S. and Israeli cooperative programs. Requires U.S. citizenship, SECRET security clearance, and 20+ years of engineering experience. Remote role with ~30% travel.
Required Qualifications
- U.S. Citizenship
- U.S. Security Clearance (SECRET or higher)
- Master's degree in Engineering, Aerospace, or a related technical field
- Minimum of 20 years of experience in engineering roles
- At least 5 years in a leadership capacity
- Minimum of 3 years managing engineering approvals and releases in the context of defense programs
- Successful experience managing engineering processes across joint U.S. and Israeli cooperative programs
- Demonstrated expertise in mid-tier air and missile defense systems and components
- Proven track record of leading the development and delivery of complex aerospace or defense systems
- Strong knowledge of systems engineering, program lifecycle management, and technical risk management
- Demonstrated ability to manage engineering resources across multiple programs
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance, if required
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to gain and maintain a working relationship with domestic and international customers
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with R2S or Raytheon processes and infrastructure
- Familiarity with foreign and domestic government regulations
- Experience with compliance requirements in the aerospace and defense industry
- Demonstrated ability to drive innovation and technical excellence in a fast-paced environment
- U.S. military experience
