Job Summary
Lead the engineering team by hiring, training, and scheduling staff while overseeing vendor management and departmental budgets. Conduct daily walk-throughs to assess the safe operation of mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems, ensuring all projects meet brand standards and building codes. Manage preventive maintenance programs using electronic work order systems, handle guest response tasks, and inspect life safety equipment per code. Assess critical situations like fires or major malfunctions to facilitate immediate responses and maintain property grounds. Requires current pool certification or ability to obtain it, plus three years of maintenance experience with knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, and electrical units.
Required Qualifications
- Current pool certification or the ability to obtain certification
- High school diploma or GED
- 3 years of experience in maintenance
- Basic Computer skills including processing emails, basic spreadsheet manipulation, and database/systems navigation including familiarity with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, and Word)
- Knowledge of Methods, and materials used in general building maintenance, carpentry, plumbing, building and electrical units and HVAC
- Must possess or can obtain a certified pool operator license
