Job Summary

Chief Engineer for London Operations, hands-on role responsible for maintaining and operating high-power tug machinery in a live port environment. Diagnoses faults, owns engine room condition and readiness, and supports the Master and crew to ensure tug operational readiness. Works with a small professional crew; 1 week on / 1 week off rotation. Not a desk-based role. Requires STCW III/3 Chief Engineer certification, ENG1, and harbour towage or small-vessel experience; UK work authorization preferred. Required Qualifications

  • Minimum STCW III/3 Chief Engineer <6000kW (III/2 Unlimited preferred)
  • Valid ENG1 and STCW certification (minimum 6 months validity)
