Job Summary
Lead day-to-day routine maintenance of the building and supervise all building repairs done by outside vendors. Develop and adhere to the preventative maintenance program, updating logs, inventory, and the manual quarterly. Monitor all systems, perform basic repairs, and respond to emergencies within two hours, including occasional night and weekend work. Supervise maintenance staff, encourage professional behavior, and ensure compliance with safety standards. Create maintenance reports detailing property condition and project progress. Assist with interviewing, training, and scheduling while maintaining an operating environment that achieves satisfactory resident service levels.

- AA degree in industry
- Three (3) to Five (5) years of experience as a Maintenance employee in a supervisory role in hi-rise buildings or hotel operations
- strong working knowledge of basic trades, such as, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, and painting standard principles and practices
- Ability to analyze and interpret technical aspects, pumps, and motors, mechanical systems with a similar degree of complexity
- proficient and have a working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel applications
- valid Florida driver's license
- ability to react and address all emergency situations in a timely manner, generally within 2 hours
- Must be available and go to the property in the event of an emergency, which may be night and/or weekends
- occasional exposure to the outdoor climate and weather conditions
