Job Summary
Oversee the maintenance and continuous operation of all building systems for JLL's Class A office building in downtown New Orleans, including supervising engineers and maintenance staff on hiring, training, and coaching. Create documented plans for preventive, predictive, and reactive maintenance while leading the engineering budget and capital improvement process. Select, schedule, and direct contractors; monitor performance and respond to emergencies and service calls. Lead technical, safety, and operational process training programs. On-site presence required Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m., with flexibility based on building needs and an on-call rotation. Valid driver's license and ability to lift 50 lbs required.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of related experience, especially as a Chief Engineer, Assistant Chief Engineer or similar
- People management experience (leading a team)
- Universal CFC EPA certification
- Experience using Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, Teams)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfort using ladders up to 30 feet tall
- Ability to frequently climb, bend, kneeling, lift and/or drive
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Valid driver License
- Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship

- Trade school education, union training, military service or college is desirable
