Chief Engineer I

Manage all engineering and maintenance operations, including the physical plant, equipment, refrigeration, HVAC, plumbing, and life safety systems. Supervise day-to-day engineering operations and emergency response teams while maintaining accurate logs and records. Establish and manage preventative maintenance programs, rooms maintenance schedules, and departmental budgets to achieve cost goals. Select, order, and purchase new equipment and supplies; inspect facilities to determine required work and arrange for renovations or repairs. Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, safety standards, and departmental policies. Handle guest problems and complaints effectively while fostering a positive atmosphere for guest relations.
