Job Summary
Own hardware design and lead HW development in R&D projects, working hands-on with architecture, component selection, schematics, layout, measurements, and design verification. Translate high-level product requirements into clear technical specs and lead technology studies to drive decision-making. Structure HW tasks, support project planning and risk management, and maintain technical documentation while collaborating with mechanics, embedded software, and production stakeholders. Identify improvements to tools, methods, and practices to enhance efficiency.
Required Qualifications
- Relevant technical degree (B.Sc. or M.Sc.)
- Strong experience in electronics design
- System-level thinking and experience from complex product development projects
- Solid schematics and layout skills with modern EDA tools (e.g. Altium Designer)
- Hands-on experience in HW troubleshooting, measurements and design verification
- Good written and spoken English skills
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with low-power, wireless or compact embedded devices is a big plus
- Experience in simulation SWs and ability to adapt state of the art working methods to ensure efficient product development and high product quality
- Understanding of design for manufacturability, testability, reliability and cost
- Experience leading a technical sub-team and driving change
- Understanding of compliance, EMC, ESD or other electronics-related standards
