Job Summary
Oversee installation, repair, and maintenance of all hotel equipment, including HVAC, plumbing, fire systems, and pool/spa facilities per manufacturer specs and local regulations. Develop and monitor a maintenance program ensuring staff and guest safety while prioritizing a guest-first attitude. Manage work order assignments and complete tasks in a timely manner. Educate and lead personnel on emergency procedures, key control, and safety protocols. Hire, train, and review performance of department staff. Requires high school diploma, four years of engineering or maintenance experience, blueprint reading skills, and ability to work flexible schedules including weekends and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of four years experience in engineering, maintenance or related professional discipline
- Must obtain and maintain any licenses or certificates as required by law
- Ability to read and understand blueprints and schematics
- Knowledge of machines, computers, tools and other equipment, including HVAC, electrical, and plumbing
- Ability to communicate effectively with guests and staff
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
