Job Summary
Manage day-to-day operations of the engineering division, including developing plans to maintain property, equipment, and grounds in a safe state. Supervise and train staff on customer service, standard operating procedures, and loss prevention while creating schedules and adhering to the annual budget. Ensure compliance with all local, state, federal, and ADA laws, and oversee emergency and life safety equipment inspections. Create and implement preventative maintenance programs, review guest feedback to correct issues, and handle room maintenance requests promptly. Follow up on alarms immediately to determine causes and report findings to the Front Desk, taking immediate action as necessary.
Required Qualifications
- At least 3 years of progressive facilities management experience in a hotel or a related field
- 2-year college degree
- 1 year of related management experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Stationary Engineer's license if required by local code
- HVAC skills
