Job Summary
Lead engineering and maintenance operations for the Paramount Hotel New York, overseeing installation, repair, and upkeep of all building, machinery, plant, furniture, fixtures, and equipment. Coordinate safety procedures, regulatory compliance, and fire safety installations while managing contractor relationships and conducting facility inspections. Plan and oversee repair activities, maintain logs, and monitor budgets for maintenance and personnel expenses. Develop and train staff to ensure 100% customer satisfaction and prepare the property for regular audits. This role requires hands-on technical expertise in plumbing, electrical, and carpentry, with a focus on optimizing property results and making rooms available for sale.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience as Chief Engineer or similar role
- Solid understanding of technical aspects of plumbing, carpentry, electrical systems etc.
- Working knowledge of facilities machines and equipment
- Experience in planning maintenance operations
- Be eligible to work in the US to be considered for this role
- Employment Eligibility Verification (Form I-9)
