Job Summary
The Chief Engineer oversees maintenance and operations in a hotel/construction facility, managing budgets, teams, and compliance with safety regulations. Requires 5-7 years of experience and a Bachelor's in Facilities Management or Engineering.
Required Qualifications
- 5-7 years of experience in a Facilities/Engineering Director or similar role
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Desired Qualifications
- Strong leadership skills
- Knowledge of HVAC, mechanical, plumbing, electrical, kitchen equipment, laundry, life safety and security systems
- Ability to develop and manage a budget
- Pre-opening experience preferred
