Job Summary
As Chief Engineer, oversee building operations, maintenance, and physical asset preservation for a mixed-use residential community. Lead a facilities service team, manage budgets with a focus on cost-efficiency and sustainability, drive the residential turnover process, implement preventive maintenance programs, and ensure safety, regulatory compliance, and high resident/guest experience. Responsibilities include overseeing HVAC, electrical, plumbing systems, facilities inspections, vendor management, and continuous improvement through data reporting and SOPs. Strong leadership, project management, and knowledge of building codes and environmental standards are essential; bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred
- Must have a valid driver's license
- 8-10 years of experience in facilities management, including at least 5 years in a leadership role
