Job Summary
Chief Engineer – Cybersecurity responsible for supporting the program chief engineer, partnering with systems and software leads to ensure cybersecure products, evaluating AMG products for vulnerabilities, providing hardware and software cybersecurity support, conducting cybersecurity scans and testing in the lab, and contributing to Program Protection Plans across projects; requires related degree, 5+ years in cybersecurity/defense, DoD IA Level III, ability to travel, and ability to obtain SECRET clearance.
Required Qualifications
- Related degree in Computer Science or Cybersecurity (CISSP certification a plus)
- 5+ years cybersecurity or related experience, preferably in military tactical vehicles or defense industry
- IA Technical (IAT) Level III IAW DoD 5870.01-M Information Assurance Workforce Improvement Program
- Willingness to travel as needed
- Ability to obtain SECRET level clearance
- Experience managing a program/project team to execute government contract or product development efforts
- Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written
- Prior military or defense acquisition experience preferred
