Job Summary
Senior Chief Engineer leads engineering and maintenance staff and manages the mechanical operations, maintenance, and modifications for assigned properties. Responsible for ensuring the plant and building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire/life safety, energy management, building automation, and related reporting) operate safely, efficiently, and reliably. Oversees inspections, energy audits, preventive maintenance, and life-safety programs; supports budget development (operating and capital), cost controls, and vendor/contractor coordination. Coordinates career development and performance evaluations for engineering staff; ensures compliance with applicable codes and regulations. Requires extensive experience in building systems and supervisory responsibilities, with focus on energy management, environmental compliance, ADA compliance, and capital project planning. Travel between properties is required. Education: High School Diploma or GED Equivalent; Additional certifications/licensing as applicable (e.g., Journeyman/Master Electrician) are noted as eligibility qualifications. The compensation offered ranges from $93,500 to $110,000, and the role operates within Cushman & Wakefield’s professional office environment with potential travel between properties.
Required Qualifications
