Job Summary
Chief Engineer leads engineering/maintenance operations for Marriott Executive Apartments Bangna Pride in Bangkok, overseeing building systems (HVAC-R, electrical, plumbing), safety, energy conservation, and asset protection. Responsible for budgeting, capital expenditure projects, preventative maintenance, and regulatory compliance; leads the emergency response team and ensures high-quality guest services through empowered engineering staff. Core focus includes supervising engineering operations, maintaining the physical plant, optimizing equipment effectiveness and safety, managing rooms maintenance programs, and ensuring adherence to SOPs/LSOPs and safety standards. Promotes collaborative relationships, supports employee development, and drives service excellence in a hospitality environment.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED; 4 years experience in the engineering and maintenance or related professional area; technical training in HVAC-R/electrical/plumbing.
- 2-year degree from an accredited university in Building and Construction, Engineering, Mechanics, or related major; 2 years experience in the engineering and maintenance or related professional area; technical training in HVAC-R/electrical/plumbing.
