Job Summary
Chief Engineer leads maintenance and operation of facility systems, supervises maintenance staff, ensures compliance with contracts, regulations, and licensing; provides technical oversight, plans preventive maintenance, coordinates with project manager and departments, travels to sites and works in both office and field settings to address urgent technical issues and project deadlines.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in facilities management discipline
- 5 or more years’ supervisory experience in physical plant and building operations including power plants for large facilities
- Certificate from AFE (CPE), USCG Third Assistant Engineer License, or U.S. State Stationary Engineers License
- Secret Clearance required
- Strong technical acumen in facility operations and maintenance
- Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills
