Job Summary
Directly supervises one or more electricians in the Operations Department. Plans wiring and installation of equipment and fixtures such as motors, generators, switches, circuit breakers, and fuse boxes. Ensures that wiring and fixtures conform to company specifications and local electrical codes; ensures OSHA compliance on all electrical work. Interprets blueprints and job orders, assigns duties, and plans procedures to meet production schedules. Recommends improvements to methods, equipment, and working conditions; maintains time and production records; coordinates with other supervisors. Candidate profile requires a trade school degree with college degree preferred, 5 years’ electrical experience, and Master Electrician or Special Electrician license. Strong leadership, organization, problem-solving, customer service, and communication skills are essential.
