Job Summary
Design and execute the overall development strategy encompassing Events, Annual Fund, Major Gifts, Capital Campaigns, and Legacy/Endowment Gifts. Coordinate ongoing annual giving initiatives to ensure achievement of financial goals, manage donor cultivation and solicitation including prospect list creation, and cultivate relationships with major donors through visits and meetings. Develop digital fundraising campaigns and legacy giving programs while expanding revenue sources via grants, individual giving, and corporate partnerships. Collaborate with the Grants Manager, CFO, and Executive Director to ensure grant oversight and compliance, acting as the lead staff liaison to board committees on resource development. Requires a Bachelor's degree with 7-10 years of fund development experience and proficiency in DonorPerfect.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 7-10 years of demonstrated fund development and communications experience
- supervisory and leadership skills
- Solid experience and knowledge in grant management and administration
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Proficient in DonorPerfect (or equivalent donor software system)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products
- Ability to plan and implement activities within policies and procedures
- Ability to maintain positive working relationships
- Ability to demonstrate initiative and accountability
- Ability to manage time effectively
- Ability to respond to inquiries in a timely manner
- Extensive experience supervising grants and communications staff
