Job Summary
Chief Development Officer responsible for planning, development, and management of all revenue programs for the American Lung Association, collaborating with the CEO and Executive Leadership Team to drive donor engagement, sponsorships, and diversified revenue. Leads the advancement program to grow revenue, strengthen donor relationships, and use data and technology to inform strategy. Requires senior-level leadership within a nonprofit fundraising context and experience shaping development strategy in healthcare/nonprofit settings.
Required Qualifications
- Proven management and leadership experience in nonprofit development or related nonprofit organization.
- Experience in voluntary health organization, college or university, healthcare environment, or related nonprofit setting.
- Ability to develop strategic objectives for a Development department and align revenue plans with organizational priorities.
