Job Summary
Lead the data governance program and strategy, overseeing the data governance function to ensure data is accurate, secure, and compliant with regulatory requirements. Develop and implement a comprehensive governance framework aligned with business objectives; drive data governance initiatives across the organization; collaborate with leadership to advance data quality, security, and regulatory compliance. Strong communication and leadership skills required; experience in highly regulated industries preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- 10+ years of experience in data management, data governance, or a related field
- Proven track record of developing and implementing data governance strategies
- Strong understanding of data governance principles, data quality, and data security
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Experience working in a highly regulated industry (e.g., finance, healthcare)
Desired Qualifications
- Certification in data governance (e.g., CDGO, CDGP)
- Experience with data governance frameworks (e.g., COBIT, ISO 27001)
- Strong technical skills, including experience with data management tools and technologies
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- 15+ years of experience in data management, data governance, or a related field
- Experience working in highly regulated industries (finance, healthcare)
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
