Job Summary
Develop and oversee enterprise compliance strategy ensuring AML program effectiveness across US FinTech operations. Lead regulatory audits and examinations while maintaining regulator relationships and managing compliance team structure and hiring. Present compliance updates to the board and ensure readiness for CFPB supervisory reviews. Maintain governance for multi-state licensing requirements and oversee compliance monitoring and testing. This senior leadership role reports directly to the CEO or Board with full accountability for regulatory program effectiveness.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years in financial services compliance
- Senior leadership within FinTech, payments, digital lending, or regulated financial services
- Direct experience managing regulatory examinations
- Strong knowledge of FinCEN, CFPB, SEC, and state oversight
- Experience reporting to executive or board level
Desired Qualifications
- CAMS certification
- JD or relevant regulatory qualification
- Prior CCO or Deputy CCO experience
- Multi-state licensing exposure
