Job Summary
Provides quality supervision to 5 caseworkers and 1 clerical; ensures children receive proper care and safety, and that regulatory requirements are met by reviewing case records and discussing case plans; conducts performance evaluations; attends court hearings; represents the Agency in the community; reviews and approves case documentation and time logs; develops staff competence through conferences and unit meetings; supervises field placements and participates in interviews for prospective employees; collaborates with families to clarify plans and intervene in conflicts; ensures compliance with policies and regulations; emphasizes safety, permanence, and well-being of children; utilizes leadership and communication skills to foster teamwork and outcomes across the agency.
Required Qualifications
- Two years of professional experience in public or private social work
- Bachelor’s Degree with major in sociology, social welfare, psychology, gerontology, criminal justice or other related social sciences
- Master’s degree in social work preferred
